Put a working overtime calculator on your own website with one line of HTML. No signup, no API key, no JavaScript of your own to write. Paste the snippet below and your visitors get a live calculator that runs entirely in their browser.
Rules verified November 2026 · Sources: U.S. Department of Labor, IRS
The widget is a compact version of our main overtime calculator. A visitor types an hourly rate and weekly hours, and instantly sees gross pay, regular pay, overtime hours and pay at 1.5x, plus their overtime rate. It uses the same federal FLSA math as the full calculator: 1.5x for hours over 40 in a workweek.
It fits blogs, HR resource pages, union sites, and personal finance posts. The layout is responsive, so it looks right on phones as well as desktops, and it ships with clean default styling so it looks finished out of the box.
You may use the widget on any site, including commercial ones, for free. There is no usage limit and no attribution contract. All we ask is that you keep the small credit line under the calculator, which links back to OvertimePayPro. That link is how a free tool like this keeps getting maintained.
Please do not rebrand the widget as your own, hide its source inside frames or redirects, or place it on spam or deceptive pages. Honest standard use is all we require.
Copy this snippet exactly as it appears:
<iframe src="https://overtimepaypro.com/embed/widget.html" width="560" height="560" loading="lazy" title="Free overtime calculator by OvertimePayPro"></iframe>
<p><a href="https://overtimepaypro.com/">Overtime calculator</a> by OvertimePayPro</p>
The second line is the optional credit line. We request that you keep it, but the widget works with or without it.
Select the whole snippet above and copy it. Nothing in it needs editing, not even the width, which shrinks automatically on small screens.
Place your cursor where the calculator should appear and paste. Most editors have an HTML or custom HTML block for this. In WordPress, use a Custom HTML block, not a paragraph block.
View the page on your phone and your desktop. Type a rate and hours and watch the result update as you type. If it works for you, it works for your readers.
The widget is a single iframe loading one small HTML page with plain JavaScript and a small CSS file. No trackers, no cookies, no data collection on our side. Every calculation happens in your visitor's own browser, so nothing typed into the widget is sent to any server. Your page speed barely moves: the iframe loads lazily and the JavaScript is only a few kilobytes.
Yes. The iframe is set to 560 pixels wide but shrinks on smaller screens, so it fits sidebars and mobile layouts without horizontal scrolling. If you want a different default size, change the width and height numbers in the snippet.
The widget uses the same styling as our calculators, and you can adjust the width and height attributes freely. Changing the inner styling itself is not supported, the widget loads its own stylesheet so every embed stays accurate and consistent.
No maintenance on your side. If we improve the rules or fix a bug, every embed picks it up automatically because the iframe always loads the current version from our server.
Yes. Commercial use is explicitly allowed, on company blogs, HR portals, payroll resource pages, and anywhere else an overtime calculator helps your readers.
